New Location for Operations
We’re Moving Up (the Hill to Broadway Avenue)

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania - Sidekick Media Services, a Pittsburgh-based multimedia company, announces a new location for operations. Officially, beginning this month, Sidekick Media Services is moving to office space at 1619 Broadway Avenue in the Beechview neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

Video production specialist, Mike Sorg, stated “It’s nice to have a place to call our own. While we’ve been working out of a co-working space up to now, moving into the recently renovated space in Beechview offers so much opportunity.”

Part of the opportunity referenced by Mr. Sorg is that the space Sidekick Media Services will be operating from was recently renovated by Beechview-based developer, Atlas Development. A once vacant and dilapidated eyesore in the community, the building has been updated to include a large window facing the street which is home to the light transit system, as well as vehicle and foot traffic along the Broadway Avenue business district.

“Having lights on in a building that was once boarded up is a step in the right direction for revitalization efforts. Although Broadway Avenue may not currently be conducive to walk-in business like other neighborhoods have, there has been some movement in the right direction for bringing business back to the community. We’re happy to help get the ball rolling with the addition of our business,” added Missy Sorg, Operations Manager for the company.

While there is still some work to do, including adding signage at the new location, Sidekick Media Services is up and running out of the new space.
